@ajbc4444 dude guitar amps are double cheaper than bass ones …
@laripsspiral .
Not necessarily
it wont blow out the speaker cuz i half a half stack crate guitar amp will it fukk it up with a bass
that dosent really sound like ur using a guitar amp well it dosent sound real distorted check my vid out of me shreddin bass on a guitar amp under my profile.
@stairmast0r
Yup, of course. True, I spoke too hastily.
@laripsspiral
The Fender Bassman is rather popular for guitars…
@osamabinladification
I was just jamming.
good playing
what were you plying exactly
@laripsspiral
There is no reason why it wouldn’t sound good.
plus most bass amps back in that day were basically almost the same thing as guitar amps
Hendrix used to play through bass amps all the time. It’s not that it wont sound “good” its just that your guitar will loose high end tone quality and gain a bassier potency. It would be great for blues or just an overall tube amp sound w some distortion.
look at the fender bassman, that sounded gd
It wouldn’t necessarily sound bad, it would give you a pretty good clean setting and a big low end but that’s about it.
Yup, it just wouldn’t sound good.
do u think i could use a guitar through a bass amp because alot of bass amps are cheaper than guitar amps
You should be able to use bass with any guitar amp, but do not turn it up, because that can damage the speaker. Unless, of course, if you’re using a bass cabinet.
ok i have 2 questions
1. i have a first act guitar amp can i use a bass on that
2. if i can will it do anything if i turn it up
he did not use a guitar amp, he used various pedals.
I think that’s pretty reasonable when one is comparing different amps and settings.
only issue with this video is you play the same riff ..
No, it doesn’t affect the amp, but speakers might blow up if you play too loud. But it’s safe to use it on low volumes, and also if you use bass cabinet. Then you can crank it up.
ok
i have to ask a stupid question now
but does the bass affect the guitar amp in any way?
can i use i my guitar amp normaly with my bass without having a problem?
im using line6
please answear
Laripsspiral, if ure into heavy metal, put the distortion really high, that’s what I do with my band
Ahh, ok. On your other video, at least I think it was yours xD, it was an Ibanez..
It’s not Ibanez, but Warwick Rockbass.
